Snowmobile operator

Industry-standard operator training with certified instructors. The one-day, 8-hour course covers loading and unloading, pre-ride inspections, minor maintenance, proper riding skills, and trail rules — with a Canada Safety Council operator certificate on completion. For deep-powder mountain terrain, a two-day off-trail course is offered.

Two days, six riders, real skills

Sled clinic

Two full days of instruction for beginner and intermediate riders, capped at six people. Come out of it comfortable loading your sled, planning a trip, reading the avalanche forecast — and riding better than you thought you could.

Sled rental extra — $700 for both days (600cc+, 153"+ track), gas, oil & insurance included. Limited seats.

  • Warm layers, winter boots & gloves (not mittens)
  • Lunch and drinks for both days
  • Backpack + two sets of goggles recommended
  • DOT or SNELL helmet (rentals available — tell us your size)
  • Avalanche gear if you have it ($30 to rent a set)
  • Mountain sled: 600cc+, 153"+ track (rental available)
  • Spare drive belt & spark plugs
  • Tool kit, tow strap, folding saw, spare socks & gloves

ATV & UTV operator courses

ATV operator certificate

Full-day (6.5–8 hr) in-field course with CSC instructors — control, turning, climbing, reading terrain, and evaluating conditions. Specific training available for riders under 14.

Hands-on full-day (6.5–8 hr) course covering safe UTV operation in a variety of conditions — ideal for businesses moving crews and equipment in the backcountry.
